
INGREDIENTS
Chicken
* 4 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
* 2 tbsp of Simplement Kosy Thai concentrate
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tbsp cornstarch
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* About ¼ cup sparkling water
* 1 egg
Sauce
* 1 cup Simplement Kosy Thai concentrate
* 1 cup water
* 2 to 6 tsp honey, to taste
* 2 tsp spicy chili paste
* 1 tbsp cornstarch
Garnish
* Green onions, chopped
* Sesame seeds
* Drizzle of sriracha
PREPARATION
- Cut chicken breasts into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the Simplement Kosy Thai concentrate, garlic, cornstarch, salt, pepper, sparkling water, and egg.
- Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Let rest for about 20 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pot. Fry the chicken pieces once, then place them on paper towels.
- Return the chicken to the hot oil for a second fry to get crispy pieces. Drain again on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix the Simplement Kosy Thai concentrate, water, honey, chili paste, and cornstarch.
- Pour the sauce into a hot pan and let it thicken slightly.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and coat the pieces well.
- Serve in a bowl and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sriracha.
